DMI Manufacturing Inc.

Who We Are:

DMI Manufacturing is an early stage company located in Stroudsburg, PA.  We have designed and beta tested in more than 25 locations a revolutionary device called the Energy Bank Unit (EBU) that reduces the average electrical bill by 11 to 30%. We are poised to commercialize the product and have recently moved our production to the Burnley Employment and Rehabilitation Center.

Our Core Technology:

The EBU is based on a patented Iterative transformer that senses changes in line current and distributes the proper amount of Kvar’s as needed to the operating loads. The auto ranging built in the units eliminates the need to have the unit returned to the building loads as the demand changes and will adjust to the loads. The Demand on the building will decrease along with the billing charges and maintain a clean AC power throughout the building.

Our Technology Discriminator(s):

The iterative transformer of the EBU senses the current load on the building and adjusts its output to that load.  No tuning of the EBU is needed as additional devices are added.  Because the unit installs in parallel with the building and attaches easily to a commercially-available breaker, it is not necessary to shut down the panel for installation. Further, the EBU combines the benefits of a TVSS filter, harmonics filter, power factor correction device and iterative transformer in a single, self-contained unit instead of in several separate devices.  It is also dust, moisture and water-proof, with an enclosure that meets NEMA 4 standards.

The EBU will reduce electricity bills 5 ways: ALL IN ONE UNIT!

1.      reduction in start-up amperage of electrical devices such as motors and reduction in operating current drawn from the electricity grid;

2.      power factor correction;

3.      elimination of harmonics in your supply;

4.      elimination of power surges and sags;

5.      phase alignment.

In addition the improvement in power quality should lead to reduced maintenance of motors and other devices by reducing heat and allowing them to operate more in line with their designed performance.  The device will also act as a surge suppressor, eliminating damage and lost production from lightening and similar events.

Sincerely,
